Recap Porto Coffee Week

From October 8 to 10, Bastardo gave it our all at Porto Coffee Week, right in the heart of Mercado do Bolhão. It was three intense days, full of incredible coffees, endless conversations and a fantastic energy at our stand.

We reunited with friends, caught up with those who are already part of this adventure and met new faces who share our obsession (a healthy one, we promise!) with specialty coffee.

From our stand, no one left empty-handed. Among tote bags, t-shirts and essential accessories, such as the SIMPLIFY the Brewer and Kalita Wave 185 filters, there was plenty to choose from. But the real stars were, of course, inside the cups.

We brought a heavyweight selection to Mercado do Bolhão: Chiroso San Carlos, Juicy Strawberry, Parainema Adolfo's, Parainema Las Huertas, Pink Bourbon Creation, Robusta Clone 25 and Yellow Bourbon.

And then there was Magnum Sidra, the lot that won over palates and caused quite a stir. For a moment, we began to suspect that Bastardo had become a background character at its own stand. We haven't yet gathered enough information to confirm or debunk this theory, but the evidence is compelling.

However, Porto Coffee Week wasn't just about serving coffee. It was also an excellent opportunity to explore the other stands, discover incredible projects and exchange ideas with the people who make this industry happen.

A special thank you to the Porto Coffee Week organisers for making all this possible and for bringing together exhibitors, professionals and coffee lovers. It was a pleasure to be part of this edition. Until next time, Porto!
